Symplectic 4-manifolds on the Noether line and between the Noether and half Noether lines

چکیده
We construct simply connected, minimal, symplectic 4-manifolds with exotic smooth structures and each one Seiberg–Witten basic class up to sign, on the Noether line between half lines by star surgeries introduced Karakurt Starkston, using complex singularities. also certain configurations of singularities in rational elliptic surfaces geometrically, without any monodromy arguments. By these configurations, we give embeddings shaped plumbings inside (some blow-ups of) surfaces.

Unirational Surfaces on the Noether Line
We show that among simply connected surfaces of general type unirationality is a common feature, even when fixing the positive characteristic or numerical invariants. To do so, we construct unirational Horikawa surfaces in abundance.
متن کاملThe D-boussinesq Equation: Hamiltonian and Symplectic Structures; Noether and Inverse Noether Operators
Using new methods of analysis of integrable systems, based on a general geometric approach to nonlinear PDE,we discuss the Dispersionless Boussinesq Equation, which is equivalent to the Benney-Lax equation, being a system of equations of hydrodynamical type. The results include: a description of local and nonlocal Hamiltonian and symplectic structures, hierarchies of symmetries, hierarchies of co...

Proof. Let A = k[s1, . . . , sn] where s1, . . . , sn ∈ A. We assume that A is not integral over k, in which case at least one of the si is not algebraic over k. If the set {s1, . . . , sn} is algebraically independent, then we are done. Otherwise assume that sn is algebraic over k[s1, . . . , sn−1] (by relabeling if necessary). Let f(x1, . . . , xn) be a nonzero polynomial with f(s1, . . . , s...

Earlier we defined the class group ClX of Weil divisors for an algebraic varietyX and the Cartier class group CaClX of Cartier divisors (which is isomorphic to the Picard group of isomorphism classes of line bundles with tensor product). These groups are isomorphic when X is smooth. In general it is quite difficult to compute these groups. In this section we will give some classic examples with...
